DESCRIPTION:For the past 28 years\, the community has come together for the Martin Luther King Jr banquet\, celebrating the legacy of Dr. King with great informative speakers and exciting cultural entertainment.  While we had proactively planned for this year’s event\, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and safety concerns for the attendees\,  the Board of Directors have made the difficult decision to cancel the banquet scheduled for January 18\, 2021 at the Abilene Convention Center. \nThe wellbeing and safety of the community comes first and we believe the decision to cancel is the right thing to do. \nThank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you in 2022. \n
