DESCRIPTION:The Abilene Black Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating its 31st annual Martin Luther King Jr. banquet on January 20\, 2025\, at the Abilene Convention Center located at 1100 N. Sixth St.  We will have a Meet and Greet beginning at 6:00 PM and the program starts at 6:30 PM.  Our theme this year is “Darkness cannot drive out darkness\, only light can do that.  Hate cannot drive out hate\, only love can do that.” (1963) \nOur speaker this year is Kendra Bracken-Ferguson\, CEO Carmell Corporation.  She is the Founder and CEO Emeritus of Brain Trust which encompasses Brain Trust Agency\, Brain Trust Founders Studio\, and Brain Trust Fund I.  Kendra is the author of The Beauty of Success: Start\, Grow and Accelerate Your Brand and the host of the Business of the Beat podcast.
